Hi all,I know I should be happy now that I,m hitting driver straight and long, but can someone please advise me how to draw the driver using hitters technique,ie,open c/face closed stance, closed c/face they all seem to go straight, they will either s/push or s,pull,no curve, want to establish consistant draw..thanks in advance
Neil,I closed c/face and moved ball back, all they did was to go more to left (still straight) might have to mix-up game ,if I want to draw, swing,If I want straight ,hit, while Im here ,may I ask another, hope you dont mind,
When swinging, the L/wrist uncocks and bent r/wrist follows, this action is caused by c/force-yes,but if I was hitting,is the same wrist-cock applied by same force or is it put in this position by r/forearm,thanks again...Terry

When hitting, make sure your right arm thrust is down and OUT toward first base. For me, when I close the face slightly and drive out toward first base, I am assured a nice draw. If you are hitting it left, you aren't hitting the inside quadrant of the ball.

Or you have not moved the ball back far enough. You always have the option of adjusting the stance line (closed )and using your normal ball position with a closed clubface.
What 8 cork says is so important -if you are not hitting the inside aft quadrant !!!!.It will feel counterintuitive -hit right go left-but it is a must .
Also be careful to check your stance line using dowels /clubs laid on the ground -you may not be just altering the ball position, but also your stance without knowing.

In hitting you are drive loading so you are driving the right arm and clubshaft -not pulling ,so right arm thrust uncocks the hitters wrist.
If you'd like to hit a ball that starts out moving to the right of your actual target, then draws back left to hit your actual target, you need to adjust your whole machine the right ( and then relative to this new setup, close the club face and drive down the angle of approach relative to this new position).
If you don't adjust your entire machine and just close the clubface, and your actual target is straight away, best case you'll get a ball that starts at the target and draws to the left of the actual target.
You must do something to get the "right" meaning the direction right.
