Steering is one of the bigest problems, or Snares, that a golfer can have. One should not try to hold the clubface square to the target line. This is one of the items dealing with Steering.
From the good show motion images seen on TV now... it is clear to see that good players to not have the club square to the target line until separation. Look at the U-tube of Boo Weekly or Tiger to see this as an example.
Here is a question and comment dealing with this. Do you think grip type and/or Hinge Action can produce various FEELS for this? For example, maybe a player using a Strong Grip Type, like Strong Underhand, may have a different FEEL or this than one using a more neutral kind of grip.
