Congrats to
Brian Gay -- the only
LBG player in the field -- on his fine 68 in today's 3rd round. Presently, he is 2-under par for the tournament and T34 on rounds of 70-71-68=209.
Saturday is 'moving day' on the PGA TOUR, and Brian got it done (up 18 spots)!
His ball striking was very consistent: He hit 85 percent of the fairways and 72 percent of the greens. His scrambling percentage was off his normal at only 25 percent (his average for the year is 63.71 percent). With another up-and-down or two, this
excellent round would have been truly
spectacular.
