well just got off the phone with a guy, he said they are teeing back up..........so go figure.
I don't the TOUR's rule on calling to 54, but I say if there is a chance to call it now is the time. Cause the last thing you want is another delay 1/2 way through the round and run the chance of a Monday finish on US Open week.
just look at the top 25.....lots of guys who need that paycheck and will not WD just to get to NY, in fact many of those guys are not even going to NY.
All that being said, the TOUR has GREAT weather people. So lets hope we get it in, if we do play and our guy wins!!!!!!!!
Kostis swingvision focused on slightly shut clubface at top...
Said nothing about...or ignored....flat left wrist at impact....plane....clubface at impact....
Every swingvision commentary should should begin with the 3 functions of the club...and end with the 3 functions... any talk about funky foot action (see Ken Brown on Setanta) is just showbiz...
Great play Brian - moving forward again like this shows great control of the 4th imperative - steady and refrigerated grey matter inside the steady head!
Yep a couple of mentions for Lynn and TGM by Finchy within the past 15/20 mins. This is good.
The Setanta commentators were commenting on the Brian's closed clubface at the top of the backswing and saying how he must be working on it with his coach...hmmm don't ever remember Lynn mentioning it in all the videos. Maybe they know more than we do
Can't wait for the back nine and watch Brian go!
Alex
Alot of focus on the putting because the commenators can't understand how ...when he is always first to play his second shot ...he is 4-5 shots ahead of the guys who hit it a "normal distance"...
"6 for 9 in sand saves...but I think his putter had something to do with that..." said commentator...
He is a great putter but alot of those putts are around 15 feet or less....how did the ball get there in the first place??
Ian Baker-Finch is a good guy though! It is the other guy..? Peter Kostis who is a little bit off...

They seem annoyed that someone who hits fairways and greens might win. As though only 300 yard drives, miracle pitch shots followed by 20 foot double breaking putts should win.
