Haven't seen it yet. How are his impact alignments? I think imperative #3 (2-0, -B Straight Plane Line) applies to clubshaft delivery alignments.
2-F and 7-3 helps us determine the precise way to accomplish this, but not many players actually stay "on-plane" throughout the entire motion. It sure makes it easier when you do, but good ball strikers are typically on plane through the impact interval and it usually begins when the right forearm starts pointing at the base of the plane line during the downstroke.
I don't think Homer was overly concerned how you got to those impact alignments, as long as it happened prior to impact. Clearly, there are a lot of variations and compenstations available for Kenny to utilize in executing the imperatives, and he owns his!
I'm at somewhat of a disadvantage because I don't have the magazine pics but curious how his plane looks from half way down into impact.
