At the 8th, par 3, at MacGregor Downs in Cary, NC with two greenies riding my dad and I were playing a couple of his friends. I hit the green to about 20 feet after my dad missed in the bunker. Our opponents stuck one to about 3 feet. There was quite a lot of good natured gamesmanship and comments of a 'lucky' shot....
Next hole (par 5) we've pressed the 9. My drive is in the sticks in jail, but I manage to hit a great recovery to about 140. Standing next to our opponent who hit the 'lucky' shot on the last to take the greenies I said... "now its my turn to be 'lucky'.... hit a beautiful 3/4 knockdown 8 iron to a foot. The 'lucky' opponent was quiet the rest of the day, especially when I finished birdie, birdie to win $20 off of him.
I supposed my 'favorite' shots of the year were at OCN on the first hole playing with Lynn - nice 35 footer for birdie. Keeping up with Ted with the driver and putter on at least a few occasions that trip was also a blast
