Rotated Plane Lines - Overhead Pics - Seymour Dunn Copyright 1930
Seymour Dunn's Golf Fundamentals is a Pre-Homer MUST
Notice these Plane lines are.... Rotated NOT Bent!!!!
The comments "Incorrect Parallel" is only incorrect for a straight away initial dirction NOT necessarily incorret if the intentions were to start the ball Left or Right of the Target line!!!!

Anyone know what angle the camera was above the string?

Very nice Annikan!
Of course, these photos are only relevant if they are taken while the clubshaft is parallel to the ground.

Great pics makes it easy to see the correct plane.
I guess not much has really changed in the golf swing over the years.
PS Sure that is not a younger HK making that swing?

The Plane Truth
I think Annikan's point in these photos was to illustrate that the plane lines are NOT BENT. It looks like the club is OFF PLANE (laid off/across the line), but it's really not IF THE PLANE IS ROTATED. The straight line is the Line of Flight (target line) NOT the Plane Line. The Plane Line is being Traced not the LOF. So the club is on-plane with the selected Rotated Plane NOT the LOF.
Is this on track?

Dave...
Nice Job!!!
(they from Hebron???)
I knew Dunn had the plann way back in the 20's,...but this is pretty cool. Post a down the line view - like in Hebron's lies...that would be cool as well!
