It looks like the club is OFF PLANE (laid off/across the line), but it's really not IF THE PLANE IS ROTATED. The straight line is the Line of Flight (target line) NOT the Plane Line. The Plane Line is being Traced not the LOF. So the club is on-plane with the selected Rotated Plane NOT the LOF.
