It's amazing how a sound concept accompanied by fervency of will provokes the most abysmal behavior of the surrounding mob. Mythology aside, I can imagine the guy that discovered fire was burned at the stake by his tribe. I liken this to Homer Kelley's work. Instructors use some of it, but still diss TGM or won't acknowlege it. When they can't ante up to effectively debate/discuss the concepts, their discomfort gets transformed. My favorites.... "The guy is dogmatic". That's dipspeak for "narrowminded and uncompromising". Such as "the presention was 'too strong'". If they looked the word up they would find that dogmatism only applies if the assertion has not been proved or is unprovable. I think that TGM is beyond the proven point. "Men of will, have the morality of an avalanche". This one is more literary, but is the general purpose catchall of a scoundrel. I think it implies that if you are a strong advocate, you will do anything to achieve the ends. And you're probably a molester on the side, too. These types of things all fall under the same category. It's good to know about it, because it's rampant today. It's called the "ad homenim" fallacy. If you can't refute the fact, idea or concept, attack the person. 1. A makes claim B; 2. there is something objectionable about A, 3. therefore claim B is false. I would imagine that is why Ted's peers whispered about Lynn's "ego" issues. Based on Lynn's exceptional abilities and sturdy character, I'm surprised that they didn't whisper about him having a side hobby of robbing convenience stores. FWIW, always remember "If they are not throwing rocks at you, you're not making a difference." And the meaner the rocks, the more desperate they are. Thank heaven for the Internet. It does put a lot of responsibility right in the individual's lap. But somewhere out there in the maze, you can always find the truth. Like here. Charlie __________________ Feed your PP#3 daily.
