DO NOT believe ANYONE that says to "catch the ball on the upswing." You need to take an air divot when hitting anything off of a tee. In other words, the club has to still go DOWN to LOW POINT after impact. If you don't, you'll be caught steering. Additionally, there shouldn't be a loss in distance.
