thanks for the replies. i feel i have found the greatest site in the world. i have read tgm, listened to mark evershed, bobby schafer, and watched the great mo norman but never quite got the whole message.so, i went back to my percy boomer swing and have played at times very good golf. but, i have always been of the opinion there was a wood stroke and an iron stroke. upon checking my wood hit after the replies, i am indeed using too much right wrist action and smoothering the ball. it did improve when i felt like i was verticle hinging, but should i feel like i am opening the club head? it feels like (and i say this knowing the ball was already gone) i was in a way scooping the ball. in other words my hands feel like they want and have to come in (go to the left of my body). Does the club head feel like it is behind the right shoulder at impact? for some reason when i think of hitting my right side tends to want to take over-which leads to 0TT and smothering. sorry for the long post but i am excited to start playing G.O.L.F. the correct tgm way. again any and all replies are welcome thanks
