It sounds to me like your're using a shoulders only stroke. I've been reading the posts by VJ and I think I remember him saying that with a shoulders only stroke you should play the ball a lil' more back of low point than with the arms only stroke.
I hope he'll confirm that.
What made you decide to quit putting with the left hand low?
