Birdie. My only information on this is hearsay. My understanding is that the book was sent to MIT and one other university by
Gary Wiren, then head of Instruction for the PGA, for a fact check. The 'word' is that no errors were found. I'm sure the documentation is in the files
Joe Daniels now owns. When the rights to TGM were sold, he got
all of Homer's originating material. What a treasure.
So, the information is there, but unless Joe chooses to share it, we will never know.
