I guess that the right wrist bend cannot be totally frozen.

If you are a Hitter starting from Impact Fix you would freeze your right wrist at least until Follow-Through (8-11). Swingers starting from Adjusted Address with their left wrist bent and right wrist flat will begin to bend their right wrist, preferably at Start Up IMO(8-4).

It must bend more (somewhat) if the left wrist is to cock, correct?

Bending (4-A-2) and Cocking (4-B-2) are different Planes of Wrist Motion. The first is a Horizontal Motion the second a Perpendicular Moton. The left Wrist is Cocked (4-B-2) by the bending of the right elbow (7-3, last paragraph).

I'm guessing that it is ok to let the right wrist bend a little, so long as it doesn't cock (which would bend the left wrist).

For Swingers, starting at Adjusted Adress as mentioned above, the right wrist will bend to the precise amount of its Impact Fix alignment. Hitters starting from Impact Fix already have their right wrist bent the exact amount they need for Impact. Again Bending and Cocking are two different motions.
