What I have found is that by taking the club away by pushing down with my right thumbpad onto my left hand/thumb (PP#1) and ingraning the feeling that this move keeps my left arm straight and extended all the way to the top, I seem to be hitting the ball real well. What I want to check is that this is an acceptable move, using PP#1 purely to get the club to the top. I dont concisouly feel any motion with my right forearm for example, all I do is keep pushing down and feeling that extension whuilst manintaining my setup angles

Is this a good thing to work on? Will it get me into trouble later? Do I need to incorporate another move with my right forearm?

Many thanks
Extensor action is absolutely a good thing to work on and you what you describe is on the right track.

As you continue to develop your alignments, you will likely begin to really get a good feel for your right forearm flying wedge (right forearm and shaft in line from down the line view at impact) and with that addition to your above description you will find significantly greater consistency. In any case, extensor action is IMO one of the single 'big things' to build into your motion.
