Another image that may be helpful to you - at the top of your backswing, get your hands as far away from your right shoulder as possible, directly in 'front' of your right shoulder - imagine that a line from your right shoulder to your hands at 'top' is parallel to the target line and level to the ground. It may be helpful to you to also feel that your right hip is moving back, as if you are 'sitting on your right cheek' a bit at the top. Also, watch Stuart Appleby's waggle and give it a try. It will help quite a bit in giving you the feel of things being 'out in front' of you.
