I have read this response before.
Questions..
1. If Homer defines "On Plane" iin 2-F with the use of the shaft to Plane Line, then why is it what you have advocated doesn't track?
2. If using a set up where PP#3 is used, wouldn't tracing a line parallel to the Plane Line (A line that goes through the sweetspot) be more accurate? (Part of the issue I have here is that it assumes PP#3 is on the aft of the shaft but not all grip variations does this apply too and I am not trying to open that can of worms)
3. If the Lights were installed in the the butt end and shaft end, would then tracing the Plane Line be correct?
Joe Daniels had a Flash Light attachment (don't remember where he got it from) but as I recall with it you could adjust it's location, on top of the shaft, aft side of the shaft, etc. This positioning allowed you to set up so you could trace various line if you were so inclined. He had it set on the Aft side and if I recall correctly tracing the Target Line since it was parallel to the Plane Line and one of the same with the Line of Flight and sweetspot. I could be confused on the last. This seems to support your position on aligning with PP#3 (aft side of shaft) with the exception of the line being traced.
