What a great session. So much to be learned from Lynn with the
help of the forum and great video such as done with Brian Gay
and John Riegger.

Thank you so much,

Donn Kerby
Thanks, Donn. You are a wonderful guy and a true seeker. I am privileged that our paths have crossed -- and continue to cross!

When I say 'true seeker', you guys have no idea. At our LBG Academy at Falcon's Fire last Spring, teachers and students alike stared in amazement at his irons and saw, in the middle of each clubface, a hole the size of a dime!

This past week, Donn showed me tabbed, 3-ring notebooks detailing his Academy experiences (Orange County National and Falcon's Fire). Also, our private lessons and LBG posts bearing on his current study. I was totally amazed (and humbled).

But this focus is nothing new . . .

Donn's career exploits as a pilot ferrying aircraft during the '70s and '80s to clients in every corner of the globe were recounted in the book Air Vagabonds (Anthony J. Vallone, Smithsonian Books). Here is an excerpt:
Kerby was becoming a guru for all things having to do with ferrying, for there was almost nothing anyone could ask him and not be given an answer. If not right away, then a few days later, when he produced a thick file folder complete with facts, figures, and several magazine articles on the subject. If anyone wanted to know what the winds were like over the Atlantic for any given month, Kerby found it in an old weather folder. If someone wanted to know what restaurant to go to in a particular city, Kerby not only came up with a name but a description of food and ambiance so exotic one might think they were talking to the restaurant critic for National Geographic.
That, my friends -- pilot or golfer -- is Donn Kerby.
