And, for Hitters, make that Hit with your Active Right Elbow. And for Swingers? We make that hit without an Active Right Elbow - but what do we use instead? Just guide PP3 down while pulling the shaft? You are exactly right, Robot Buddy R2DU. I am not surprised at your analysis, but I must confess, I am pleased. Year for very-young-year, you are the best inthe U.S., if not the world! For Swingers, Pulling and Sensing is about as far as it can go with this#3 Pressure Point business. So, if you are one of the many closet "Idon't feel the #3!" TGM afficienados, don't feel guilty! That said, Ihave a private tape of Ben Hogan in his later years describing anddemonstrating to friends precisely the Swinger's #3 Pressure Point 'On Planeand at right angles to the Clubshaft' (1-L #11) Feel through the Ball.Given that it was the last thing Ben demonstated prior to his "That'sit!," I am personally inclined to believe that his demo of the #3 was-- with all due respect to Life Magazine and their publication of a muchmore complicated and controversial action -- his long-awaited 'Secret.' ForTGMers, of course, it's not such a Big Deal, because that same Secret wasrevealed 45 years ago by Homer Kelley in 6-C-2-0/A/B/C/D/E (6th Edition). Bottom line for Swingers: You just 'Crank the Gyroscope' at Start Down and thenlet it go. You must sustain the Motion through Impact, of course -- tooffset Deceleration Forces (the Ball hits the Clubface just as hard as theClubface hits the Ball!) -- but for the most part, you simply crank it up andlet it go. In other words, all the Swinger can -- or should -- do is to SENSE the#3 Pressure Point guiding (aiming) the #3 in its straight-line Path tothe Ball (10-24-E) and directing the On Plane Centrifugal Power (1-L#11). The Swinger cannot -- and must not -- Feel the Thrusting, DrivingMotion of the Hitter! In fact, any attempt to 'override' Centrifugal Force iscounterproductive for two reasons: First, it destroys the Centrifugal Horizontal Hinging Rhythm (6-B-3-0);and Second, it is directly opposed by the Centrifugal Force (that simplydoes not want to go that fast) and therefore results in a net loss of Forcedelivered to the Ball. So, let's continue to call it Bungee Jumping... But without the Urgency! __________________ Yoda Yoda View Public Profile Send a private message to Yoda Visit Yoda's homepage! Find all posts by Yoda
