jpelzel,
Had the same problem, primarily with chips--during my lesson with Yoda I had a few hosel rockets hitting simple chips. He had me address the ball and noticed I had the ball right in the middle of the clubface instead of towards the toe. The longer the club, the more towards the toe the ball should be addressed. He had me hover whatever club I was using with the ball in the middle of the leading edge, then just let the clubhead drop to the ground---this will put the ball towards the toe. Then just focus on the inside aft quadrant of the ball and go for it. If that doesn't work I would suggest asking a REAL instructor! Have fun. Dr Dave
