So I was at the course for the first time in a few weeks the other day and on the 1st tee decided to give Hitting a go. Now I know even less on Hitting than Swinging, so was ready for a good laugh at my own expense.
For me, with my VERY limited knowledge, Hitting boiled down to; hands at fix, no startup swivel, stop at the Top, slide as usual, don’t turn the hips or shoulders as much and then fire the right arm down and out Hard, feeling it on the left thumb. I know there are many components that I will need to work on if I continue hitting, but whatever I was doing, it worked

Hit an awful lot of straight shots, and it's the first time I have ever hit fades that felt powerful. Played the front -1 and hit 11 of the first 12 greens in reg.
I was a half club shorter, but even if that didn’t change with time and knowledge I wouldn't care, it felt so easy to Hit straight... and for me the felling of Hitting an iron sweet beats swinging no problems, not to mention the extra spin
