You can't go wrong with the $2 App Skydroid. It works perfectly for my Android phone but is available for iphone as well. It even tracks shot distance. You need an internet connection and google maps I believe. Courses are free and it is easy to map courses as well. Probably not as accurate as high priced one, but for $2 it's a no brainer.
