Given that angled hinging is a feel of no roll, that is, no manipulation with the hands, wouldn't it also produce the most consistent results? I find that rolling the club in horizontal hinging requires perfect timing in order to hit the ball without producing a wild hook. Is the main benefit of horizontal hinging that the ball will roll more and go further? Is there something that i'm just not getting?
