I learned that nothing is "close" to OCN, except of course OCN lodge, which of course is booked!...loads of hotels available, just have to take a road trip each morning.

Ted Fort and I have just returned this evening from a very exciting and successful LBG Academy at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club and are rarin' to go again. As Wanole's and Neil's posts have suggested -- thanks guys! -- there are plenty of inexpensive rooms available. You'll just have to drive a bit since OCN is definitely 'out' there. It's the price paid for high season and enough land to have one of the finest practice (and play) facilities in the world.

for those who are attending ...you need to do a mental evacuation of all the instructional bird cage liner thats been rattling around up in there for years...cause the dynamic duo are going to fill you up with the finest and only material you'll ever need.period.
