Any standout thoughts during the round (swing-wise, etc.) or was it "just clickin?"
Thanks much. I really hit some quality shots today (tour quality in fact - just makes you shiver). I just had some bad ones mixed in which kept me from going really low.
Nothing real exciting for stroke thoughts. Assemble the wedges, take'em to top on plane, drive down the plane, and make solid contact. I try to do a few other little things, but nothing real noteworthy. In fact I was cupping the left wrist a little now and again which caused me some problems. Those lapses in concentration cost me two doubles. Once I figured it out, everything was fine again. It only took 15 holes!

This is just really great stuff, Steph. Back here in The Swamp, Ted and I are 'bustin' all our buttons.' You got Game, gal. You go!

It is starting to really come together. I got my distance back once the finish swivel started taking root. If I keep my lower body from sliding to far forward, I hit very good shots (oh, and quit cupping at top ).
Funny thing is the eagle was not the best shot I hit today. I hit a drive into the desert (hard as concrete - really) on the 16th hole which left me 150 in. I had a tree up a ways that I could not consistently clear from such a hard pan lie. There was another tree near the green guarding an approach from too far left. I had a window between the trees where I could see a little less than half the green. I hit a low, cut 6I between the trees, carried a greenside bunker, to a back right pin position (planned the low, cut part and trusted the 6 to be enough). I had 20 feet for bird (missed). It is by far one of the best executed shots, given the circumstances, I have ever hit.
