Could you describe (roughly) what the proper shoulder-to-hands alignment feels like at the top/end? Does it feel like there's a "connection" between the hands and the shoulder? Do you know what I mean?
Sure.
Approximate the left arm by looping a 4-foot cord around your left shoulder and stretching it with your right hand. Swing the stretched cord to the Top -- right shoulder high and On Plane -- with your right arm.
That is the Mechanic.
And that is its Feel.
I wrote a post recently for DrewitGolf with an idea for a TV teaser spot on exactly this mechanic. I'm having trouble finding that post, but when I do, I'll link it here. Meanwhile, if anybody beats me to the punch . . . Thanks!

Was that post for DrewitGolf or that other great New Englander BBax? I thought the suggest demonstration you gave BBax was excellent and would love to see it in the video Gallery. It sounded both informative and entertaining.

This has the makings of a great thread. Top Ten Lynn Blake Posts!
I have cut and pasted practically all of Lynn's posts, particularly those relating to TGM proper. We are talking hundreds of pages, folks! The best information...excellent prose!
