Sweet Success
I got to go out yesterday and play a round with my club pro, Chip Sullivan. He played me and 2 other buddies in a best ball match. We are all around 6 handicaps. On the first tee I was loosening up and wondering what T.G.M. swing thought would I take to the course today. I am terrible about being too mechanical during a round of golf. Just before it was my turn to tee it up, I heard Yoda's voice saying "drag the wet mop." My first swing I hit it right down the middle, and went on to make a solid par. At the end of the day I managed to roll in a twenty footer for birdie on 18 to give me a 2 under total, Halving the match with Chip. My only thought all day was "drag the wet mop" and what a beautiful thought it is. My first sub par round, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Without a doubt, the best ball striking round I have ever had.
Thanks Yoda.

Yoda's voice you heard, 8cork? High and squeaky it must have been!

A Jedi's strength flows from The Force. Your 'wet mop' you dragged, and The Force was with you. Hmmmm.

The heavy, wet mop cleans up again!
Nice round! Makes the rest of the day go by that much smoother.

Awesome!
Outstanding round! That has to feel great shooting such a super round playing with your club pro. Days like you had validate the hard work required to incorporate the instructional gems found everywhere on this site. Goals + commitment + hard work = achievement. Gotta love it!
