Hey guys, new to the forum and starting lessons with a TGM knowledgeable instructor. I am working on getting my hands into proper impact position, as I have been somewhat of a flipper prior. I have only had one lesson, but find that I seem to be smothering shots with low right burners or cuts.(right hander) Any advice or drills that I can do before my next lesson? Thanks. jb
You'll learn a bunch here, just take your time and indulge.
If you are already working with an AI it's probably best to keep following his or her advice. You can supplement your knowledge in the armchair by starting with this forum.
Hard to give advice without knowing where your AI is taking you. But if you are working on a flat left wrist, straight plane line, and sustaining the lag you are on the right track.

Welcome jb.
It is early days for you.Take it one step at a time.
You are learning how to not flip-so the feeling of proper impact alignment will feel strange for a bit.
When you get that down you will then hopefully progress to the next stage .
For what it's worth ,my advice would be to work on each stage and get each new move properly executed.
And study this forum.
Good luck
Very often, you have to go back to go forward. You change something and all of a sudden, the golfer has to find a completely new way of hitting the ball.... but if you want to get better however there is no other way.... It takes a long time to get things you practice on autopilot.... some of these things you need to work on for a very long time others may only take a week....
