Glad to hear everyone is doing ok. My brother had left his Abita Springs home (adjacent to the golf course down the road from Money Hill) to go to Shreveport and is staying there for the time being. My sister's home in Covington has some minor damage--a minor miracle considering the number of trees that were downed in her neighborhood.

I was born and raised in New Orleans and this has been very hard for me to watch. At one point, we lived in a rental house with the infamous 17th Street canal in our backyard--about a mile away from the break.

I did get confirmation through RSG that David Laville did get out of town beforehand (he's in Alabama if I recall correctly).
