...how many touring professionals do you see conscously going to Impact Fix...then returning to adjusted address in their pre-shot routine?

And if they do...Do they look a little mechanical while playing?

Homer Kelley felt that the purpose of Impact Fix is to master consciously the Alignments of Impact in all Three Zones (Body, Arms and Hands). Once that purpose is accomplished, the player no longer needs to go to Fix (except in the most demanding situations). He felt the same way about the Practice Swing.
