"Only the putter can be hooded to any advantage" (I forget the chapter) It works very well for learning to hear the 'click' of a solid impact with the putter. I think it almost can work too well if that is possible, to the extent that when you try it you may find that the better impact makes distance control/power shift and require less 'effort' for a given distance. The downside is a ball that hops, which indicates too little loft and/or too steep an impact. I notice a similar effect from C-grooves and a hooded putter. __________________ "Support the On Plane Swinging Force in Balance" "we have no friends, we have no enemies, we have only teachers" Simplicity buffs, see 5-0, 1-L, 2-0 A and B 10-2-B, 4-D, 6B-1D, 6-B-3-0-1, 6-C-1, 6-E-2 EdZ View Public Profile Send a private message to EdZ Find all posts by EdZ
