I forgot to ask you that at the time. Thanks, Dave Hinge action is only from impact to follow-through (both arms straight/two feet past the ball). The "blasting to Beijing" created a truckload of soil around the clubhead, so the clubface is a little obscured. But at two feet past, I'll assure you that it's 45 degrees across the baseline. Even a hitter has to have an exit to finish. And that bridge is the finish swivel. Many have been taught to execute a hinge action as a swivel.
