The Golf Stroke is very dependent on the location of the right elbow so that the right forearm can function accordingly. Three elbow locations - Punch- at the side, Pitch- in front or Push- up and out behind the shaft. Hitters would use Punch- elbow at the side to drive the right forearm and right hand. Swingers are more identified with the Pitch Elbow location as the right elbow gets deeper into the Stroke Pattern with a Maximum (late) trigger release to whirl the clubhead around a smaller pulley. A swinger could use Punch with a Sweep type release, too. Push is a chip or putt stroke.
