I think one of the main reasons it BENDS(at IMPACT) is because people are trying to hit the ball FORWARD, AND USE A FLIPPING MOTION OF THE HANDS AS A POWER SOURCE TO DO THIS. Rather, the hands should just HOLD ON, and move DOWN towards the aiming point.

So then is flipping an action of its own or a result of something else? or both? I was thinking along the lines of, if you don't have a proper pivot or don't rotate all the way to finish the hands overtake and the result is a flipping motion. Yes, no, maybe?
