I think all but the newest members here understand the term pivot-centered tripod and understand that it is not about spine or axis tilt. A lateral shifting of the hips in the downswing DOES NOT mean someone is incapable of adhering to the pivot-centered tripod concept. The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far").
