(in both directions in each plane) Standing eccentric abdominal core exercises, again in the 3 planes of movement, progressing to performing while balancing on one leg, while reaching with the other leg. Medicine ball throws, again in the 3 planes of movement. That's a start. My own routine contains variations on the above exercises.
