It is IMPORTANT that the Lag Pressure of PP3 strikes the ball and not the evil twin PP3 Throw-Away. Do not flatten the right wrist. I am not familiar with Hogan's drill but I think BH had the evil twin pp3, at times. He mentions how much trouble the index finger and thumb cause. Delivery PP3 (extended down the shaft in this drill) with a bent and Level RW on a three dimensional Down, Out and Through incline plane. Shield eyes from blinding light. One last point I have been meaning to post- this is as good a place as any. When you 'see' the ball UP on the incline Plane, not at the bottom of the stroke, it changes how you ‘see’ impact. No longer will it feel like Down, Out and Through are three separate angular motions but D-O-T as ONE.
