Surely that is just the choice of power package accululators and number of barrels - you can have 4 barrels in hit or swing .... so does that make the 4 barrel swinger the same as a 4 barrel hitter??? My take on the argument is that it is the loading action that distinguishes the hitter from the swinger - drive or drag load. 7-3 stuff...
