I used to play every week when I lived in England,year round and it wasn't so much the waterproofs as the T shirt,shirt sweater underneath. However ,this time of year it shouldn't be that cold(!). I played there last winter and I had just bought a PING top -no elastic waist and removable arms (they unzip).
