Yes, I think so. I used the analogy of a dog (right arm) running in a straight line and the leash (left arm) keeping him in check. I may be wrong but I don’t think the ‘dog’ needs to be running in place trying to escape but just have a constant and deliberate inline exertion. More like walking into a strong wind or pulling a heavy load behind you.
