The principle here is that the Club is "driven through Impact by an On Plane force moving toward the Plane Line" (1-L #10). Think of this action as Lag Pressure driving the entire Right Forearm Flying Wedge (with its On Plane Right Forearm and #3 Lag Pressure Point) toward the Baseline of your Inclined Plane. If Right Triceps Power (Linear Muscle Force) drives the Lag Pressure, you are Hitting. If Body Power (Rotational Momentum Transfer and its resultant Centrifugal Force) drives it, you are Swinging. Either way, the Right Forearm and Lag Pressure Point 'Trace' the Straight Plane Line (either Geometric or Visual / 2-J-3). [The terms Linear and Rotational as applied above are my own and not defined in TGM, per se.] So, Hitting or Swinging, think of the Right Forearm and Lag Pressure as 'one'. Then, when the Elbow arrives On Plane ("Through the Ball" per 7-24), both the Forearm and Forefinger (Clubhead Feel) will point at the Plane Line (albeit at different points on that Line). __________________ Yoda Yoda View Public Profile Send a private message to Yoda Visit Yoda's homepage!
