You'll see the club's blurred path of the clubhead move in a straight line. If I'm using a square, 10-5-A Plane Line, I "Trace". The club will visually move in a slight arc, but I'm NEVER trying to move the club in an arc. I think it's foolish to lay an arbitrary arc on the ground in an attempt to cover it with the blurred path of the clubhead. It's much more precise to "Trace".
