Punch elbow is comfortable but Uncocking on a vertical plane seems un-Golf-like. The allure of hitting for myself is the ability to use the right arm. I am right arm dominant and don't operate the left arm that well. Furthermore, swinging requires some pretty good flexibility IMO.
