Beginner's Pattern
Homer's Notes supplied by Vikram in The Clubhouse Lounge:

"For Beginners, the following simplified approach includes only the most basic Components.
These alone can produce a fine game and is the solid foundation for a full course."

"Use a strong single-action grip with a Punch Basic Stroke, a Turned Shoulder Plane and a single Pressure Point combination ( #3) with Zero Wrist Action, the hands remaining in Impact Fix position throughout the Stroke (no Turning or Rolling) and Drive Loading."

Downstroke motion always starts with a hip slide, hula-hula, parallel to the delivery line.
That means that the hitter using the angle of approach, direct line, would hip slide parallel to the angle of the right forearm at impact fix adjusted to the inner-aft quadrant of the golf ball.

Start slow and bash the livin' s*** out of it, but remember, Effort is not Power.
Over-acceleration is the killer. Feel it heavy or light, but there's nothing dainty about it.
Impact is to occur before maximum extension.
