Yes, aside from a possible difference in Hand Action both Swingers and Hitters can employ a RFT. An "Active" fanning and bending of the Right Arm going back, if you will.

A Three Accumulator Hitter using Drive Loading does not rely on the Pivot in the same way a Swinger does. He doesnt swing from the feet per 6-M-1. His right shoulder stays back some what and he thrusts his Right Arm against it, although the Right ARm motion for full shots is really more of side arm throw than a shot put, or boxers jab motion. There is fanning and bending, its not just inline.

Four Barrel Hitting brings the Pivot back into the mix but with some alignment conflicts that can cause inconsistencies. For this reason Homer wasnt a huge proponent of it for the average golfer.
