Maybe I'm not understanding this right, but there seems to be an ever increasing focus on the mental aspect of the game. Is it increasing or is it simply more present?

I watched a video about a guy from California, who, at 40 years old, decided it was time to test and challenge himself to become a Tour Player. A huge part of his training involved "Mental Attitude" and changing his thinking or at least trying to change his emotional approach when hitting the ball or his emotional response to having hit a poor shot.

Maybe my thinking is to old fashion, but I have always thought that a large part of having self confidence was having something to be confident about.

I swear, if you live west of Mississippi and north of Texas you'll become a mansy pansy Golfer and I'm not completely convinced about Texas anymore either. Naturally, LBG.com members excluded.

The name of the movie was "The Back Nine". I hate doing this but I can't help showing you his library of golf books.
