Just watched the TGC swing analysis of world dance champ
Tony Dovolani. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Dovolani He's gone from golfing beginner to an eight handicap in just three years. All the while dealing with certain "distractions".
HEY!
COME BACK HERE!
I'M TALKING TO YOU!!
As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted . . .
Tony began the interview by telling the reason for his rapid progress: he and his instructors hyper-focused on his body rotation back and through. He related his rotational golf concept to his dance concept, especially his world-class dancing 'frame' (with which the male encapsulates his partner and directs her about the floor).
The swing analysis . . .
He's got a problem with his
Shoulder Turn???
Please.
Tony does
not have a Zone #1
Body problem.
He has a Zone #3
Hands problem.
He has no
Finish Swivel.
That's the problem.
Like tens of millions of golfers . . .
He's
STEERING (3-F-7-A).
Golf's #1 Snare.
And that's screwing up a couple of very important things that
must happen before.
All of us must "free-wheel" -- thank you,
Bobby Jones -- through the ball.
Even a world-class dancer.
Even when your
body action is
perfect.
Give me five minutes with the guy and I change his golfing life forever.
