I know this is a common line of thinking but Homer himself said otherwise in the audio tapes.
To confuse matters even further , when asked if Swingers could use the Angle of Attack Procedure Homer said "NO!.... well yes....... but it would take a lot of compensations ".
In regard to whether a Hitter
can use the Arc the answer is a very firm yes. This would be a hitter who planes his shaft on any of the common planes through impact. Regardless in which direction the plane line points: open, closed , square , so long as his shaft rides a common plane through the ball the eyes from their parallax point of view will see a curved club head blur. A useful visual equivalent to on plane club shaft and head travel and probably the inspiration for V.J.'s putting arc , maybe. I dunno but the geometry is similar.
Hey Whip do those white club heads make the visual equivalents , the club head blurs even more noticeable ? Never thought about that one , me being a Titleist driver , 3 wood player.
