Soon, I have one last small touch to finished. It is a good one. I hope this week (really).
Right now I am preparing myself and my family for a bitter newspaper strike unless cooler heads prevail.

Not sure where to post this but...
here would appear to be the most appropriate place to let admin know that I cannot view any videos anymore.

When I click on them I get directed to a new web page and then get the 'Quicktime' logo and a done message.

Is this a problem that you are aware of and is it affecting others?

Is there something being done about it?

I'm not aware of the problem, nor am I being affected by the problem. I've also not received any support emails about it. Let's see if we can diagnose it for you.

Does this happen on all videos or just specific videos? If specific videos, please provide some links to those videos or tell me which videos you're having trouble with.

Are you using windows or mac OSX?

Windows XP with a firefox browser.

I have had difficulties viewing the "Lynn Blake" section with impact bag etc. Checking today, I am able to watch the colin Neeman videos (no bad thing, going to work my way through them all! again)

What is your default video player? I think most of the videos in the gallery are wmv files so your best bet would be to use windows media player. You can double check the settings on your media player so that it will be the default player for wmv files.

I think I found the problem. Quicktime is having trouble with the 'mpeg' videos in the gallery. The solution I've found is to change firefox to use windows media player instead of quicktime.

In firefox, go to tools->options.

When the dialog opens click on the 'applications' icon.

In the list of 'content types' find the two labeled:

'Movie Clip (video/mpeg)'
'Movie Clip (video/x-mpeg)'

Change the associated viewer from the quicktime plugin to 'always ask' or 'other' then choose windows media player from the next dialog.

I'll try that, the message I get is:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

Thanks Bambam for your help.

Those two weren't really labelled. Not specifically like the way you suggest anyway.
