Ok. So the Swinger has transfer of momentum from his massive rotor (body) and by staying ahead of the club with his pivot he is able to resist impact deceleration.
But what about the Hitter? He does NOT have transfer of momentum correct? Why? Is it because the pivot is motion and not action?

The pivot is still providing transfer of momentum, building support for the thrust and the 'launching pad' of the right shoulder.
